Tim Thorne

Tim is a barrister, who was called to the bar in 1987. He has had over 20 years’ experience as an advocate and more latterly sitting as a Judge. Tim has had experience as a barrister in a range of courts and tribunals.

Tim has held a range of judicial posts including sitting as a part time Judge Advocate General in Courts Martial, as a Deputy Chair of the National Health Service Tribunal, as a Traffic & Parking Adjudicator for the Parking Appeals Service and as an Immigration fee paid Judge in the First Tier Tribunal.

Tim has a wealth of experience in interviewing witnesses, preparing cases for trial and representing clients in court. In his judicial role he is often involved in the questioning of witnesses to assist with judicial decision making. Tim has been delivering skills based training for over 15 years and has an excellent reputation for bringing a practical hands on approach to skills training.
