Penny Harper solicitor is founding Director of Legal Experience Training (“LET”) established in 2010.
Penny is regularly instructed direct by organisations, corporate clients, law firms and by recommendation from Members of the Bar to prepare expert witnesses and witnesses of fact to give evidence in a range of court/arbitral hearings within the UK and worldwide. She has unrivalled expertise delivering sessions for witnesses of fact and expert witnesses. She is able to advise experts preparing to write expert witness reports, attend expert witness meetings and give evidence in proceeding where experts must “hot tub” as part of their oral evidence.
Mark James MA (Oxon) Barrister, Non Executive Director
Mark was called to the bar in 1987. He is in practice at Temple Garden Chambers in London. Temple Garden Chambers is a leading London Chambers. Mark has experience of criminal, civil and commercial litigation.
Mark has extensive court experience and advises clients across a range of matters including health and safety, professional negligence, fraud, high value personal injury litigation, costs, employment and contractual disputes. He is rated in “The Legal 500” as having “excellent knowledge” and in the “Chambers” directory as being “intellectually very gifted”.
Tim Thorne MA (Oxon) Barrister, Non Executive Director
Tim is a barrister, who was called to the bar in 1987. He has had over 20 years’ experience as an advocate and now sits as a Judge. Tim has had experience as a barrister in a range of courts and tribunals.
Tim has held a range of judicial posts including sitting as a part time Judge Advocate General in Courts Martial, as a Deputy Chair of the National Health Service Tribunal, as a Traffic & Parking Adjudicator for the Parking Appeals Service and as an Immigration fee paid Judge in the First Tier Tribunal.
