“The refresher session brought me up to speed with new case law since the last refresher session I attended. You can never stop learning in this subject area and even though I have attended this course before I feel that the course will help me to hone my skills within the sphere of my subject matter. Reports are always a challenge to compile, and the approach of funnels is something that I will definitely try with my next report. Excellent discussions on experts not acting as advocates or experts providing comments on points of law. This is something I have observed in others and I now have a better appreciation of the fine lines between roles and how I should avoid that pitfall. The tutor is easy to listen to and presented the subject matter in a manner that made sense to me. She was always happy to pause on any points of discussion and only progressed to the next topic when the attendees were happy to do so. When asked questions by an attendee the reply was focused, concise and linked to the information in our course pack.”
